Product-as-a-Service: a Model to Enhance Circularity of Building Systems – Watch our Webinar!

SHARE

What are some of the key characteristics of current PaaS contracts and offerings for the services layer of buildings related to circularity? What are some of the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating circular practices into PaaS? How do customers and financiers relate to circularity and reduction of environmental impacts?

We brought leading industry experts together to answer these questions in a cutting-edge event!

Our webinar explored the integration of circularity principles into Product-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions for building systems such as cooling, heating, and lighting! These innovative models promise to mitigate environmental impacts and foster circularity by implementing practices that amplify value addition and retention.

During the session, BASE presented the findings of the white paper developed in collaboration with the Circular Building Coalition, focusing on exploring best practices for embedding circularity into servitisation contracts, available here. Industry experts implementing transformative as-a-service models in all type of buildings in Europe took us through their PaaS and Circularity solutions.

In a nutshell, the session goes into:

  • The key findings from the BASE white paper on PaaS and circularity and some of the upcoming activities of the blueprint project.
  • Leading Lighting-as-a-Service (LaaS) and Refrigeration-as-a-Service (RaaS) models developed by Aneo Retail and Signify.
  • How circular principles can be incorporated into PaaS offers + unique LaaS and RaaS use cases.
